“As a woman traveling alone, I felt intimidated and unsafe. At 3pm when I tried to check in, reception was unmanned and no-one answered the phone. A stranger, a man working on his car in the driveway, attempted to approach me when I was calling the manager. He had no reason to approach me. I have traveled extensively over my life and have a strong sense of how to stay safe. This accommodation felt unsafe to the point where I could not stay there on my own. “Very run down rooms. For the price we paid it certainly didn't live up to "Econo". Very old bathroom. Plenty of tea and coffee but no bloody milk. Very old tv so no smart connection. Can hear the neighbours next door. Much better places around.”
